One of the hardest parts about learning music is the fact that practising on your own can feel repetitive, unfocused, or not that rewarding - that’s where Practice Lab comes in.

Practice Lab is a dedicated course for developing musicians of all abilities, taught via guided online community experiences, designed to ensure musicians build consistent practice habits in an engaging shared ritual.

Each session, we work through short creative challenges designed to develop real musical skills.

You take some time to explore the ideas in your own individual practice ritual, then we come back together as a group and learn from each other.

Rather than practising in isolation, you’re part of a group — sharing ideas, perspectives, and progress. It makes improving feel more natural, motivating, and engaging.

Practice Lab is included for all musicians working 1-to-1 with Alexei on a monthly basis, as well as those enrolled in any 8-week course.

Sessions alternate between Spark ⚡ and Pro ✅, all members are encouraged to attend both.

This is the design:

• In Spark, you slow things down and strengthen the fundamentals

• In Pro, you apply those skills in more advanced, creative ways

Learning this way creates faster, more complete progress.

Less experienced musicians grow quickly by being exposed to higher-level ideas, more advanced players deepen their skills by reinforcing the foundations.
