Mentorship

1-to-1 Music Mentorship

Personalised coaching for musicians, songwriters, performers, and creators.

Built from over 7000+ hours of teaching experience and two decades of real-world musicianship, these sessions are designed to help you develop practical skills, creative confidence, artistic identity, and long-term momentum.

Whether you are:

  • completely new to music

  • returning after years away

  • creatively stuck

  • preparing for live performance

  • writing original material

  • building production skills

  • refining advanced musicianship

these sessions are tailored entirely around you.

No rigid syllabus.
No one-size-fits-all teaching.

Just focused, practical guidance designed to help you move forward clearly and confidently.

Learn in a Way That Actually Feels Human

Music development is deeply personal.

Some students need:

  • structure

  • accountability

  • technical foundations

Others need:

  • confidence

  • creative direction

  • emotional support

  • clarity around what to focus on next

The goal is not simply to give you information.

The goal is to help you become:

  • more capable

  • more expressive

  • more confident

  • more self-sufficient

  • more connected to music itself

Sessions are relaxed, supportive, and highly adaptive — while still focused on real progress and meaningful artistic growth.

Built Around Real Musical Development

My teaching approach combines:

  • practical musicianship

  • creative exploration

  • psychological understanding

  • real-world industry experience

  • deep listening

  • collaborative problem solving

Lessons are designed to remain:

  • engaging

  • flexible

  • creatively stimulating

  • immediately applicable

Many students arrive believing they “aren’t naturally musical.”

Most simply haven’t yet experienced the right kind of guidance.

Real Experience, Not Just Theory

Alongside teaching, I’ve spent years actively working as:

  • a touring performer

  • songwriter

  • composer

  • producer

  • recording artist

I’ve independently written, recorded, produced, and performed original music internationally through my band SQUARMS, while continuing to study creativity, musicianship, teaching, and artistic development at a high level.

Qualifications include:

  • First Class Honours Degree — Popular & Contemporary Music

  • Distinction MA — Creative Arts Practice

  • Level 6 Teaching Diploma

  • Full CRB Check

I’ve also been featured as a BBC Introducing artist.

Stop Waiting to Feel Ready

Most musicians spend years stuck between:

  • overthinking

  • self-doubt

  • unfinished ideas

  • inconsistent practice

  • fear of judgement

Growth happens through:

  • creating

  • experimenting

  • performing

  • listening

  • refining

  • staying engaged consistently

You do not need to already be “good enough” to begin.

You simply need curiosity, openness, and willingness to grow.
