Joel arrived at his first Studio Session with lyrics, a guitar part and the beginnings of a song. Preparing for a school application, he wanted to take his music further and experience what it was like to create in a professional studio environment. Together they developed the arrangement, explored different sounds and transformed those first lyrics and guitar parts into a fully realised track of his own.

But the biggest part of the experience wasn't simply leaving with a recording. It was hearing something that had existed in his head become real. Joel left excited by what he'd created and already talking about coming back with his next song.
